How to Install Multiple Kodi Builds on Amazon FireStick

I’m frequently asked if there’s a way to install multiple builds on Kodi, and after experimenting with various methods, I discovered that there is. And, in this guide, I’ll show you how to install multiple Kodi builds on Kodi-compatible devices like the Amazon Fire Stick / Fire TV Cube.

Kodi is a cool media player that allows you to watch movies and TV shows on your local device. However, Kodi’s true potential is realized when you combine it with plugins (also known as add-ons) and stream content over the internet. There are dozens of free Kodi addons available that will help you find the content you want to watch. Addons can be thought of as a link between Kodi on your device and the vast world of free content available online.

The word “addons” conjures up images of builds. A Kodi build is a plugin, but it differs from an addon in how it works. Any build’s primary function appears to be addon management. You don’t have to install addons separately because the builds come with them already installed. Kodi gets a complete makeover, both visually and functionally, with builds. When you install a build, you’ll get not only preconfigured addons, but also a completely new interface for interacting with Kodi. Some Kodi builds are more popular than others among Kodi users.

Many people have asked if they can install and use multiple builds on Kodi. I’m relieved that I was able to find the solution at long last. Let’s take a closer look at this.

Is It Possible to Install the Multiple Kodi Builds at the same time?

Yes, multiple builds can be installed and used. However, the traditional method would be ineffective in accomplishing this. What I mean is that you can’t run multiple builds on the same Kodi instance. On your FireStick, you’ll need to install a Kodi fork. You could call a fork a ‘clone’ or a replica of Kodi. Later, I’ll go over Kodi forks in greater detail. Let me explain why you’ll need multiple Kodi instances for this.

When I was figuring out how to install multiple builds on Kodi, I started with the Supreme Kids build and then moved on to the Titanium Build. I was both surprised and delighted to discover that the Supreme Kids build would allow me to use Titanium Build. When I relaunched Kodi after installing Titanium, I noticed that it had completely replaced the previous build. When I went to the Interface settings, I discovered that Supreme Kids’ skin had been removed as well. I also looked at the size of the Kodi data and noticed that the previous build’s data had not been removed. That is, however, my fault because I did not select Fresh Install prior to the installation.

To summarize, Kodi will technically allow you to install multiple builds. However, the most recent build installed will overwrite all previous builds without actually deleting their data (until you specifically instruct it to).

So, we’re back to Kodi fork now.

A Kodi fork is a copy of Kodi that has been tweaked in some way. Some Kodi forks, for example, come preinstalled with popular builds like Titanium, while others come with preinstalled addons.

You’ll need multiple instances of Kodi on your FireStick to install multiple builds. However, you couldn’t install multiple copies of the same app on the Fire Stick. This is why a fork is required. Despite the fact that fork is essentially Kodi, your device treats it as a completely different application.

Users of KODI, take note: Before you go any further, read.

Kodi addons and builds provide limitless streaming content, but if you’re caught streaming free movies, TV shows, or sports, you could face legal consequences. While streaming online with Kodi, users are strongly advised to use a VPN. A good Kodi VPN hides your identity and protects you from government surveillance, geo-restricted content, and ISP throttling (which also helps in buffer-free streaming).

ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN, is what I use. It’s simple to set up on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. On its annual plans, you get three months free and save 49%. It’s also backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. You can always request a refund if you are not satisfied.

#1. You’ll need an extra app to sideload the APKs onto your FireStick. While you could use a browser to download the files, I recommend using the Downloader app. This app allows you to quickly download APKs and install them on your FireStick via sideloading.

Select the Search option on the FireStick’s home screen to get Downloader. Look for and install this app.

#2. After you’ve installed the Downloader app, go to YOUR APPS & CHANNELS and launch it. To begin, go to the left-hand menu and select Settings, then JavaScript. Without this option enabled, some links will not work properly.

#3. On the side right of the Downloader home-screen, select the ‘Browser’ option.

On the right, you’ll see a web browser. Every time you click it, the browser opens the developer’s website, aftvnews.com. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about it.

A red, circular cursor should appear over the browser window. Go to the top of the page and click the address bar.

#4. The developer’s website URL is prepopulated in the onscreen keypad. To clear the field, click the ‘Clear’ button on the bottom right (above ‘Go’ and next to ‘Delete’).

Now go to repo.supremebuilds.com and type it in.

Note: You can use the Amazon Fire TV Remote app on your phone to type faster and more easily.

Activate the ‘GO’ button.

If you want to start with a clean Kodi installation and later install a build of your choice, you’ll want to use the Kodi fork that doesn’t come preinstalled with any build.

As a result, the Titanium 18.1 fork will be installed. This fork provides a fresh Kodi installation with only one pre-installed addon, Supreme Builds Wizard.
